The Legacy Vision is an endowed center for restoration, learning and practice, rooted in relationship with gorgeous nature.

We are creating a permanent home where nature serves as an essential collaborator in restorative strategy, transformational learning and collective liberatory practice.

Leaders and healers will return throughout their lives to nourish their inner ecosystems, strengthen relationships and develop approaches aligned with the future they want to create.

Grounded in restoration, connection and visioning, the Village cultivates the awareness, sovereignty and grounded choice that expand what is possible for individuals, communities and our collective future.

Villagers 2025

The Sourcing Circle is How We Actualize the Legacy Vision

Together, we will create:

  • Ample space in gorgeous nature for restorative and collective gatherings, accommodations and a range of healing practices.

  • Transformational learning and practice experiences for up to 300 new leaders and healers annually, with space for returning alumni and aligned visitors.

  • Physical and financial accessibility for people across the socioeconomic spectrum.

  • Curated cohorts connecting leaders across geographies, sectors and backgrounds.

  • Early-stage support for promising strategies and innovations emerging from the Village.

  • Fair compensation and long-term sustainability for the staff stewarding this work.

The Village Legacy Vision is a $150M vision

New Seneca Village has a commitment to be in relationship with others, with generosity and abundance.

This first phase of our funding plan is for $50M, which will allow us to acquire and build out a Village retreat center space, while providing both organizational sustainability throughout the land and build phase and operating costs for the first three years of on land operation.

Our second phase of funding for the founding endowment of $100M will allow us to support the expansion of both our personal and our collective power, allowing for Village offerings that are rich, complex and designed to expand, nourish and sustain individual and ecosystem leadership in perpetuity.

Our Sourcing Circle Opportunity

The Village Sourcing Circle is an intimate, cross-class community of stewards coming together to help mobilize the first $50 million of our Legacy Vision.

Collaborative and experimental by design, the Circle brings relationship building, restorative practice and shared learning into the work of opening pathways to people, partnerships and resources. Members will explore how money, influence, trust, imagination, land and spirit can be stewarded in right relationship while taking meaningful action to bring the Village into form.

Together, we will resource a permanent home for restorative practice and strategy, transformational learning and collective visioning—for the sake of deeply resourced leaders, stronger movements and the future we are working to create.

Sourcing Circle Activities

The Circle will collaboratively develop and pursue:

  • Donor ecosystem mapping Identify the wealth holders, philanthropic networks and trusted connectors within and beyond our existing relationships.

  • Strategic outreach and engagement Coordinate our collective approach while advancing individual relationship and resourcing goals.

  • Donor and partner introductions Invite potential funders, connected partners and media leaders into relationship with the Village and its team.

  • Narrative amplification Create opportunities for the Village to be seen and understood through media, social platforms, conferences, gatherings and storytelling.

  • Relationship and feasibility learning Listen to potential partners, gather their perspectives and use what we learn to strengthen the Legacy Vision and its resourcing strategy.

Please note that our Village values require us to focus on redistribution of wealth and land from folks whose money makes money and not from folks whose money is already taxed by their identities in our society.

As such, the focus of this Circle is major gifts
and not grassroots resourcing.

Each member of the Sourcing Circle will commit to stewarding specific activities as the foundation  of our collective engagement.

Sourcing Circle members who must work for a living will receive a stipend for their active participation.
