Resourcing the Village is Resourcing the Future

Every generation is invited to decide what kind of future it will help create.

At New Seneca Village, we believe those choices begin long before movements begin, policies are written, or organizations are built. They begin within us—in how we relate to ourselves, one another and the living world.

Through restoration, connection and visioning, the Village creates opportunities for leaders and healers to expand awareness, strengthen discernment and cultivate the practices that shape more intentional ways of living, leading and contributing.

There are many ways to steward this work. Whether you are called to help build a permanent home for transformational learning or to expand the stories and ideas that invite others into this way of being, your contribution helps cultivate the conditions from which new futures emerge.

This experience brought clarity to my life and vision.

It showed me that I do have enough time, and to focus on what's most important—human connection, caring for the environment, tending to myself, and supporting others.

When I take time to care for myself and my own healing, then I can show up as my best self in all facets of my life and work.

This experience really put things in perspective about the type of world I want to live in and how I can help to create it.

Resourcing What Comes Next

The Legacy Vision is our commitment to creating a permanent home where leaders and healers return throughout their lives to restore, learn, deepen relationships and continue evolving how they contribute to the world.

As a generative center for transformational learning, collective strategy and lifelong community, the Village will cultivate the practices, relationships and ways of knowing that strengthen our capacity to navigate complexity and consciously shape the future together.

Growing the Community That Resources the Future

The Sourcing Circle is a collaborative, cross-class community of wealth holders, trusted connectors and resource mobilizers committed to expanding the Village's reach and helping bring the Legacy Vision to life.

Members introduce the Village to individuals, families, foundations and philanthropic networks, while also amplifying our work through media, strategic gatherings, conferences and other opportunities that grow awareness, relationships and financial support.

Designed as a co-creative stewardship community, each member advances their own relationships, ideas and resource mobilization efforts within a shared strategy that strengthens and amplifies the Village's long-term vision.

Expanding Our Collective Imagination

The futures we create are shaped by what we learn, share and practice together. Through We Outside, the (forthcoming in 2027) Living Guide, research and essays, the Village shares the practices, reflections and learnings that emerge from our work in community.

These resources invite people into deeper reflection and conversations about leadership, restoration, spirit, nature and what becomes possible when we choose to participate in life differently.

Our Philosophy

We believe humanity possesses an extraordinary capacity to shape what comes next.

Yet many of the systems shaping our lives have narrowed our awareness, disconnected us from ourselves, one another and the living world, and diminished our ability to recognize the choices available to us.

The Village exists to help restore that capacity. Through the practices of restoration, connection and visioning, we cultivate the awareness, relationships and ways of knowing that strengthen how people discern, choose and contribute.

Our Theory of Change reflects our belief that when we transform how we relate to ourselves and the world around us, we expand what becomes possible for our communities and our collective future.

Why did you Build the Village?

Meet Our Founder

IMG_4197_edited_edited.jpg

Ain Bailey

I've long been curious about what human beings are actually capable of. Not just what we can produce, but who we become when we're in deep and loving relationship with ourselves, with one another, with nature and spirit. And the new realities we can inhabit when we live in this way, fully realizing both our responsibility and our potential.

I am not interested in how to help people become more productive. I want to understand what becomes possible when people are genuinely restored and in connection with who they are and what they are here - on this gorgeous life-giving planet - to do. I am certain that this vital connection will allow approaches and strategies to emerge that are aligned more with the future we want, and less with the present we are trying to change.

The Village is my way of living into that question. It's an experiment in creating the conditions where different ways of being and eventually different futures become possible.
