New Seneca Village Legacy Vision
1
A Steady Port in the Storm
New Seneca Village on land will be a reliable sanctuary for leaders committed to the demanding work of world‑building, offering space to recharge, reflect and re‑source leadership through relationship, practice and embodied wisdom.
2
Generative Center for Collective Strategy
Beyond respite, the Village is a liberatory practice space where restoration, connection and visioning become pathways for transformational learning, conscious participation and the collective work of shaping a future that works for all.
3
Leadership Rooted in Nature and Spirit
By deepening our relationship with the living world and ways of knowing often overlooked by dominant culture, leaders expand awareness, strengthen sovereignty and cultivate the capacity to consciously shape a future that works for all.
Welcome
New Seneca Village on land will be a steady port in the storm and a generative center for personal restoration and collective restorative‑based learning, practice and strategy.
Creating conditions for leadership to flourish.

Imagine a future where leaders have lifelong access to the relationships, practices and places that help them sustain themselves and their work.
A future where restoration is recognized as an essential condition for leadership. Where communities are strengthened because the people carrying them are deeply resourced. Where imagination, wisdom and collective responsibility become as valued as productivity and urgency.
This is the future the Legacy Vision exists to help build.
Beyond offering respite for restoration, New Seneca Village will function as a generative center for collective learning; a liberatory practice space where restorative‑based learning, embodied practice, and strategic work come together, so that individual restoration catalyzes collective transformation and sustains long‑term movement, community building and systems change.
The Village, A Home for the Future We want
The Legacy Vision is the creation of a permanent home for transformational learning, restorative practice and collective strategy dedicated to resourcing the inner ecosystems of leaders shaping our shared future.
We believe that lasting systems change depends on more than new organizations, policies or technologies. It also depends on the inner conditions from which leaders perceive, relate, imagine and move forward toward their visions.
The Village exists to cultivate those conditions.
Through restoration, connection and visioning, Villagers engage in an ongoing practice of expanding awareness, strengthening relationships and developing the capacities needed to navigate complexity, sustain courageous leadership and shape futures rooted in collective flourishing.
Over generations, the Village will become a living laboratory where leaders, healers, artists, researchers and movement builders gather to explore the defining questions of our time, including:
What ways of being, relating and leading make a future worth having possible?
For the past five years,we have hosted and learned from cohorts of leaders focused on the Village framework for transformation; restoration, connection and visioning.
We are ready to expand and deepen how we invite in new ways of being rooted in spirit and community for the sake of a future worth living in.

Why the Village
On Land Matters
We understand nature as wise teacher, partner, friend and guide—an essential collaborator in transformational learning and leadership development.
For generations, communities of color have been intentionally separated from land through displacement, segregation and unequal access to natural spaces. Even today, many continue to experience nature as a place where they are watched, questioned or made to feel as though they do not belong. These histories have shaped more than access; they have shaped our relationship with the living world itself.
The Village is designed to fundamentally shift this relationship.
We know that learning with nature invites different rhythms, expands awareness and offers ways of knowing that are often overlooked within systems built on speed, extraction and separation.
As leaders deepen their relationship with the natural world, they strengthen their capacity to discern, imagine and lead in relationship with the living world.

Our intention is to be situated on 100+ acres - ideally near water - and within 1.5 hours of an international airport, with municipal capacity for development and openness to gifted, climate‑resilient land.

Resourcing a Lasting Home for
Transformational Learning and Leadership
Our long-term vision is a $150 million commitment to ensuring this work remains accessible for generations.
We are beginning with the first $50 million to acquire and steward land, develop the Village campus, build the institutional infrastructure and establish the on land team needed to bring this vision to life.
The remaining $100 million will create a founding endowment, that makes possible a permanent, intergenerational ecosystem of offerings designed to resource the inner lives, relationships and long-term capacity of progressive change leaders and healers..

The Legacy Vision extends far beyond a physical place.
It is a long-term commitment to stewarding a philosophy, a community and an enduring practice of leadership rooted in restoration, connection and visioning.
The land creates the conditions for something increasingly rare:
a place where leaders can arrive fully as themselves, release the burdens they have been carrying and devote their attention to the personal and collective relationships, practices and possibilities
that shape a future worth having.
This is the kind of place we believe every generation should inherit.
Together, we are building that legacy.
